I've just came back from vacation in Belo Horizonte; my hometown.
It went so fast. When I was starting getting use to laziness it was time to come back to work. I had a great time visiting my folks and eating good home food every day.

Inauguration 2009

I watched CNN/Live all day at home and at my job in the library.

I didn’t miss a moment. It was just so exciting!

New Class in CTC

We are having this brand new class in the Computer Room in our library; Advanced Sharing Sites on the WWW. It is promising to be a good class where we are going to talk about Facebook and Flickr among other networks.

I was able to add music to my blog but changed my mind about it. It gets confusing when people click on my videos.

I have been trying to add music to play continuously on my blog as I have seen some bloggers doing. I went to bloggers help and it seems I need a host site to accomplish that. I will keep on trying, if anybody knows what the best host is? I already know how to do the html/javascript part.

Olympics_Girl singing at the opening ceremony

Here is the real girl singing at the opening ceremony in China. Her name is Yang Peiyi, she is 7 years old and she looks adorable to me. I really do not understand the standards of beauty in China.

On an interview on a radio station in Beijing, they admitted, quote: "the Olympic organizers needed a beautiful girl with a beautiful voice and Yang Peiyi was not pretty enough, we had to put the interests of the country first."

Brazil/NYC

I just came back from my country. I had such a good time! Here in Florida is so hot right now and it was cold out there. I like the cold better. My husband loves Florida though; he does not miss New York City at all. I do miss NY always! I lived in NYC for eight years and my quote is: "You leave New York, New York never leaves you!" It is like a lover that you will never forget no matter what.
